What can you make from the things sitting around you?
I gave myself 30 minutes in the studio with no plan, no sample library and no particular sounds in mind.
I simply started recording.
A book. A pen. A remote. A receipt. Things being scraped, hit, rubbed, crumpled and manipulated.
The result is 10 completely original sounds created from ordinary objects.
Some are subtle. Some are strange. Some are seriously useful.
The idea isn’t to give you a collection of perfectly polished production-ready sounds.
It’s to give you 10 starting points.
Take them into your DAW. Chop them up. Stretch them. Pitch them. Resample them. Turn them into drums, percussion, textures, atmospheres or something completely unexpected.
And more importantly:
Look around you. You probably have hundreds of sounds waiting to be recorded.
This sample pack is completely free.
Download the sounds and see what you can make with them.
